Right now I feel very motivate to keep going, I will be doing this during the rest of the month of February. I’m trying to work my endurance and I see the difference. I tolerate more. I’m not tired mid run or mid walk.

I forgot to post about my January Miles but I will take advantage of this post to let you know!

I ran 36.99mi

I walked 6.96mi

Thanks

My actual Running Essentials 2019

Hi!

In this post, I will write about my running essentials. The items I used every time I go for a run. Also, I will mention what I bring when I run with the stroller and the best company ever, and some details about the post-run. These items, I use them and want to share it because is very important to me.

I hope this post is helpful to the readers.

Running Essentials 2019

1- Hat

I used NikeCourt AeroBill Featherlight in color black. Easy to use, easy to set, lightweight, easy to clean, and perfect for airflow.

2- Sunglasses

I use the brand Goodr model NESSY’S MIDNIGHT ORGY is like aqua color. They are lightweight, don’t bounce, don’t slide, they protect your eye, something that is very important for me.

3-Headphones

I use AfterShokz Air I start using them in June 2019. Since then I never left the house without them. This headphone had a technology that sounds travel via bone conduction. I love them and when I run I can hear everything around me and still listen to music is amazing. Don’t bounce and Don’t slide. Easy to set up and charge.

4-Watch

I use Forerunner® 630 but is discontinued but I still recommend the brand so this model is very similar to Forerunner® 235.

This watch for me is key and very important it let me know the time, pace, distance. I can answer or ignore calls, I can put music and manage the volume, the days I don’t run I used it like my step counter, etc… And all the data goes to the app on my cellphone.

5-Bag

I used The Original SPIbelt is where I put my cellphone when I go in a solo run. Very comfortable, easy to adjust and use.

6-Compression Socks

I used the brand Zensah model mini crew. They give me arch support, no sweaty feet, no blisters, help with blood circulation. Also, they have a wide seamless toe box. They are very comfortable. I wash them in the washing machine on delicate and dry it on a drying rack. (Do not use the dryer, it would shrink the sock making them useless.)

Post-Run What I use:

-Water

– –Nuun electrolytes tablets  Tropical Flavor

-Foam Rolling – Gaiam Restore Muscle Therapy 18″ Foam Roller This is amazing for a stretch before and after a run. This item has helped me with the sore muscles

-GoFit Massage Polar Roller – Cold Rolling Ball

What I bring when I run with the Stroller:

-Extra water

-Snacks for my mini partner

-Toys / Leap pad

– If the weather is cold outside a blanket

Note: This post is not sponsored, any of the brands mention above are not paying me to make this post. This is not an AD. I do not receive any commission for the links provided in the post.

Running with a stroller

Hi!

Running with a stroller:

I started running again with my 4yrs old on the stroller.  Let me tell you the struggle is real, but not impossible. I also decided to run at least 1.50mi but I have been running 2.00mi. The first mile is getting easier but the second mile I feel that the combination of the wind,  the weight of the stroller plus her weight and adding that I’m pushing up and down hill sometimes is challenging but I have been having fun. Something different to do and having company is a plus.

Question: Do you run with a stroller? What brand is your favorite?

One mile

Hi! (short)

I want to celebrate that I finally ran 1.01mi non-stop and pain free. Yes… I’m so happy for this achivement. That injury took longer that I expected to recover but the wait worth it.

Patient is the key.

In another post I’m going to write about the stuff I did to recover.

June 14,2013. Flag Day Run! + Disappointment

Hi!

Is nice make any excuse for a run. So I decided that I will run today because I was changing my route. I mostly run in the sidewalk but this time I change it to pavement. It was hard; the impact feels hard in the body; that makes my pace slow.

I was a little bit disappointed because my time for 2.00mi changed a by a few minutes. I was running in a slow pace that made you feel your legs are sore.

I believe that the mind is very powerful, and I say to my self in the process that I can do it. “I not going to stop running for nothing”, so I keep moving. I try to convince my self, that if I want I need to give a little bit extra.

I try to think about the different things that could change and do not help me to accomplish the run in a good time.

  • My diet on my birthday was the worst ever, I ate pizza and cake.
  • I’m not doing any other type of exercise beside running.
  • I drink coffee with regular sugar.
  • I eat red meat, bread and rice.

I know that I need to change few things to have a better performance in my running schedule.

Starting on Sunday June 16, 2013. I going to change the way I eat and on the days I do not run,I will do some type of physical exercise. I know this is going to be hard, but I can do it. I know this is going to change the way I run and going to give me the necessary resistance.

Finally the important thing here that I did it and I don’t give up.

Wednesday June 12, 2013. Birthday Run

Hi!

Today was a fun long day. I woke up early in the morning. I spent the day with my amore; we eat lunch together, then for a little shopping and the rest of the afternoon in his office. When we get home, I get ready to hit the road, that was my plan yesterday so I did it.

I run my fastest 1.00mile Finally!!!

[ 1.00mi10:29min – pace 10’32″/min – temperature 56F degrees ]
[ Also my fastest 1k – 6:34min.]

Four weeks ago was 10:56min the mile. (note: one of my goals is do the 2.00miles in 20mins) The difference is minimun but it feels so good. The difference was :27 seconds.

Next I put a photo for record also the badges I earn for the fastest mile run and for running on my birthday.

I use nike + running app for iphone.

 Thanks
