HI!!

I finished a personal challenge I put myself into. I decided to ran and walk for a week. It’s my first time doing that. I felt very energized during the process in the week.

I thought I was going to be exhausted when I finished the challenge but no that wasn’t the case. Right now I feel very motivate to keep going, I will be doing this during the rest of the month of February. I’m trying to work my endurance and I see the difference. I tolerate more. I’m not tired mid run or mid walk.


I forgot to post about my January Miles but I will take advantage of this post to let you know!

2021 Start with great news!

Good News! I’m #teamnuun2021
The year started with an amazing opportunity to be a 2021 Nuun Ambassador! I’m excited for this new chapter in my running journey and to be part of my favorite hydration brand is a plus.

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the email saying I was selected to participate with the brand. On November last year, I saw that they had a opening to be an ambassador and I filled out the form. I just took a risk that I had never thought of doing. I’m so glad that I took the chance and I went for it.

I want to let you know that I’m still very active on Instagram @catherine_run1 I have been posting about my running journey there. I write about what is happening with every run and the accomplishments and the not so fun stuff.

I’m thinking as part of my goals for 2021 is adding my first 10 miler run for this year.

February Miles and March Goals

Hi!

February was a good month overall. I was so excited to be back in action and keep this lifestyle that I love. I love been active, It make me feel productive. Now that I have the time to workout, I have been very focused on my goal for the month and life… Running is a life goal for me. During different runs this month I had experience the power of a good run when your feel that you clear your mind like a reset. I feel one way, then I run, Go back home feeling like a better version of myself. That’s one of the thing running does for me.

February Miles 2018: 13.94mi

Total of runs: 10 runs

Days Active:  15 days ( This includes at home workouts)

 


MARCH GOAL 2018

Training To Run

Hi!

If you have been reading my recently posts you know that I’m starting from the bottom, from zero to running again. I decided to start doing some push-up and work my core a little, so that way I have more endurance or I feel more capable to run. I don’t know,is like baby steps start like a beginner again. I feel good with myself recently. I feel like a have the power to work my mind to decide doing what I was doing with my body and for myself before pregnancy and baby.

Doing the daily at home, taking care of my little baby girl, plus doing exercise. It may sound like three things but is more than that and I know that I’m capable to do this and more that is for me. We need to start with our self so it is easy to love and appreciate the love that is around us.

I start this new year like no other. In the past I found a good motivation to start running. I may talk about later when I feel more confident to share that experience. But this year the motivation is me. Work for me, myself and I. For my health, my body and my confidence. It may sound a little selfish but sometime you need to give you self some respect and stop thinking about the rest.

At the end of the month I will be doing a recap of everything I’m doing to start running. That journey is about to start next month. I’m so excited to start and share every step with you that read me.
