Life is hard, not impossible

Hi!

I just want to let you know that I’m sorry for taking a break from blogging without letting you know.  It was good not thinking in about what to post next, It was nice to be offline too.

Life sometimes put you in places to prove how strong you are. In my case taking care of my baby by my own, the household; including my marriage; It was hard. I’m not complaining about it because I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to raise my child and be stay-home mom. Thanks God for giving me the knowledge, patience and love to carry this responsibilities. For this reason it was hard to keep going with the blog. My main theme it was my running journal; which I had stop running for multiple reason, one of them was my knees problem, maybe later I can write about it. I wasn’t  running so I don’t have anything to post about. I also tried to add a new thing here in my blog, about the book I was currently reading. That activity consume most of my free time so I stop it too. I know, I feel like I gave up few of the thing I love to do. It felt like that at one moment but I know it was a good decision.

This is just a update.

Thanks for reading!

Yoga when your’re sick

Yoga when you’re sick

Hi Everyone!

Today is December 2, 2014.

Today here where I live was a gloomy day plus I’m sick. I started to feel a little bit sick since saturday night after the yoga class. I was super sweaty. When the class finished I went out of the building and the weather was like 28 Degrees Fahrenheit. I wasn’t prepared with the correct clothes.

On my 3rd day of sickness I just can’t handle this. Is hard trying to take care of your almost four months baby when you’re feeling sick. So I decided to move my body and my soul trying something new. Like I told before I’m beginner on yoga. So I search from my favorite yoga youtuber Adriene and I found a video for when you are sick.

It was my first time practicing yoga when I’m feeling sick. and let me tell you I used this video and it was very helpful, refreshing, peaceful and powerful. Nothing more to say.

Day#5 & Day#6 Yoga November Challenge

Day#5 & Day#6 Yoga November Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Today is November 6, 2014.

Day#5

Rest day. Like I told you before, I’m a beginner and I need some rest because I was feeling a little bit of soreness in my body. I regretted that I not did anything at all for the challenge, but in the end I felt good to have a day off.

Day#6

Was a good day for me. I woke up very early 5:44 am since then I still up. I drank a coffee to help me to stay up and function normally since I never wake up at these time. I did some house work. “House work never-ending you know“. I take care of my baby. I take advantage of one of her naps so I did my routine for this day.

I searched on youtube.com |yoga for beginners| and there I found a bunch of videos for novice people like me. I used a video from a girl named Adriene her channel is Yoga with Adriene. Also she have a web page: http://yogawithadriene.com I think the video is very informative and I felt it work for me.

Routine Duration: 15 minutes {Yoga for the lower back pain} For healing and preventive care.

Favorite pose of the day: Two-Knee Twist

Thoughts of the day: It felt so good doing this routine I absolutely love it. I recommend it if you having problem with your lower back.

How to do Two-Knee Twist pose:
Lying on your back, bend your knees into your chest and bring your arms out at a T. As you exhale lower your knees to ground on the right. Keep both shoulders pressing down firmly. If the left shoulder lifts, lower your knees further away from the right arm. Hold for 1-2 minutes each side

Fact: Listen to your body and find what feels good.

My progress and My Dares: Day#6

P: More relax

D: My Flexibility

P: Positive thought during the routine

D: Concentration

I want to invite you to start a yoga journey like me!!!

30 days Yoga challenge November 2014 #day3

30 days Yoga challenge November 2014

I know I have been missing in action for the few past months. This new life with a baby is a little bit busy, but I’m still running few days at week and I’m also trying to add to my fitness routine a little bit of yoga. So now I’m doing the 30 days Yoga challenge for November 2014.

Back on track! Good News

Hi!

I’m happy to be back on track with my blog.

I may not write for a while about running. I need to wait around 2 months to start again my running journey.

I’m wondering if I can start writing reviews about different stuff like (makeup, food, places, etc…)

I know I describe this blog like my journal; I think this part of my life; is a nice idea to invest time on it.

I may not have the same time like in the past, but I going have different kind of themes to talk if I change I little bit the blog main interest for a minute and then continue writing about my runs.

Very important… I’m not trying to focusing in other things in this blog. I just want to incorporate others things that is part of my interests.

Thanks

C.P.
